Bruno Caprettini

Bruno is an assistant professor of economics at the University of St. Gallen. His research interests are in the fields of
development, political economy, and economic history. He holds a Ph.D. from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona .

Roland Hodler

Roland is a professor of economics at the University of St.Gallen. He is also a research fellow at CEPR, CESifo and OxCarre. His main fields of research are development economics and political economics. His interests include how ethnic diversity, natural resources and foreign aid influence economic and human development as well as conflict, corruption and favoritism.

Simon Evenett

Simon is a professor of international economics at the University of St. Gallen. His research interests lie in the field of International Trade. Over the past years, Simon has developed the Global Trade Alert a unique dataset that systematically collects and harmonizes information on state interventions related to international trade and migration. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Charles Gottlieb

Charles is a professor of economics at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics and the executive director of the Global Centre for International Economics (GCIE). His research interests lie in the field of macroeconomics and development. He holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute. 

Timo Boppart

Timo is a professor of economics at the University of St. Gallen and an associate professor at Stockholm University. His research interests are in the field of macroeconomics in general and particularly in growth, distribution, and development. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich.

Reto Föllmi

Reto is a professor of international economics at the University of St.Gallen and a Research Fellow at CEPR. His research interests lie in macroeconomics, distribution, international trade, and economic growth. Before joining the University of St. Gallen, he was a professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Bern. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich.
